Description

DZignerd is an e-commerce marketplace tailored specifically for Algerian-made decoration and artisan products, accessible as both a mobile and web application. Utilizing Flutter for its polished, visually-driven front-end and Laravel for its secure, scalable backend, the platform connects independent designers and artisans (vendors) directly with buyers. The core focus is on high-quality product presentation (essential for décor), robust categorization (e.g., ceramics, brassware, tapestry ), and detailed vendor profiles that highlight the artisan's story. The Laravel API handles the complex multi-vendor order flow, inventory management, secure local payment gateway integration, and commission calculation, ensuring a transparent and reliable selling environment for the local creative economy.

Plan of Action

We began by setting up the specialized Laravel Multi-Vendor Backend, establishing separate roles for Buyers, Vendors, and Admin, and configuring the database for rich, image-heavy Product Catalogs with custom filtering fields (like material, region, and artisan category). Concurrently, the Flutter App Development prioritized the Vendor Onboarding Workflow and the aesthetically pleasing Product Showcase Interface for buyers, focusing on large photos and clean design. The crucial step involved implementing the full e-commerce transaction logic in Laravel, including the Shopping Cart, Checkout Process, and Secure Local Payment Integration, along with the automated Commission and Payout System for vendors. The final phase concentrated on building the dedicated Vendor Dashboard for inventory and order management, followed by comprehensive UAT on the entire transaction chain—from product listing to final order delivery and vendor payout—before a strategic deployment at the start of our work week to manage initial vendor sign-ups.
